Microsorb Cyano, a silica gel bound to cyanopropylsilane, is a unique cartridge column that can be used for both normal and reversed phase separations. When used with a mixed mobile phase of aqueous and organic solvents, compounds elute in the typical reverse phase order with polar compounds eluting rapidly and hydrophobic compounds being more strongly retained. Because of this retention, Microsorb Cyano columns are very useful for the separation of compounds that are too hydrophobic for C18 or do not dissolve well in organic solvents. Cyano columns can also be used in typical normal phase solvents and separate compounds based on polar interactions. This Microsorb column has the inner diameter 4.6 mm, the length 150 mm and the particle size 5.0 µm.Meer tonen
