CCA refers to bi-metallic single and multi-core cables with copper-clad aluminum core for higher-frequency applications. Specification explanation: The so-called skin effect or current displacement is a physical phenomenon that is caused by higher-frequency alternating currents. The current density inside the conductor decreases with increasing frequency than that on the outer surface. The inner cross-sectional area of a conductor through which high-frequency alternating current flows has practically no transfer function. The network cable - CCA thus provides a real cost-effective and weight- reduced alternative to conventional full copper cables and this atequivalent performance and transmission characteristics .
