The GS-6311-24P4XV is equipped with 24 10/100/1000BASE-T copper ports supporting 802.3at PoE+ injector function, a total PoE power budget of up to 370 watts and 4 extra 1G/10GBASE-X SFP+ fiber ports that are flexibly designed to extend the connection distance. It provides a quick, safe and cost-effective Power over Ethernet network solution to IP security surveillance for small businesses and enterprises. The GS-6311-24P4XV provides high-density performance, Layer 3 static routing, RIP (Routing Information Protocol) and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First). With 10Gbps interfaces and 128Gbps switching fabric, the GS-6311-24P4XV can handle extremely large amounts of data in a secure topology linking to an enterprise backbone or high-capacity servers. The powerful network security features make the GS-6311-24P4XV perform effective data traffic control for ISP and enterprise VoIP, video streaming, and multicast applications. Intelligent Powered Device Alive Check The GS-6311-24P4XV can be configured to monitor connected PD (powered device) status in real time via ping action. Once the PD stops working and responding, the GS-6311-24P4XV will resume the PoE port power and bring the PD back to work. It will greatly enhance the network reliability through the PoE port resetting the PDs power source and reducing the administrators management burden.
