Engines with engine codes M96.01 / M96.02 / M96.03 / M96.04 and M96.20 / M96.21 / M96.22 / M96.23 / M96.24 / M96.25 / M96.26 are fitted with 24 hydraulic tappets of this type. Engines with engine codes M97.01 / M97.20 / M97.21 / M97.22 are fitted with only 12 hydraulic tappets of this type for the intake valves.
