Polaris HPLC columns offer a variety of polar phase chemistries that reliably separate mixtures of polar and non-polar analytes with excellent peak shapes. Polaris C18-A is designed for high-throughput and LC/MS analysis of polar compounds in research and development, especially for new drug discovery, drug metabolism, etc. The functional groups of Polaris C18-A are combined with polar groups located near the silica surface. These polar groups have two functions: First, they improve the retention mechanism of polar substances.
