CAMELEON CANOPY A WHITE II can
The CAMELEON CANOPY A II box (item 8565) is a component of the Nowodvorski Cameleon system, not a finished lamp. It is a round ceiling canopy 30 cm across and just 3 cm deep, to which Cameleon suspensions and shades are connected — on its own it does not light and contains no light source.What it is for The Cameleon system rests on a simple idea: one electrical outlet in the ceiling becomes a multi-point composition. The CANOPY A II box splits the supply across up to 12 Cameleon lamps, each rated at up to 25 W and required to be an LED source. The suspensions can be set at different drops to build a cascade over a dining table, a kitchen island, a stairwell or a counter.Limits worth knowing The 25 W per point and the LED-only requirement are conditions of approval, not suggestions — the canopy is not rated for halogen or incandescent lamps of higher wattage. If you plan to use all twelve fittings, work out the spacing of the suspensions before installation, because the plate is only 30 cm in diameter.Build and safety The canopy is made of painted steel and plastic in white RAL 9003. The flat, 3 cm body barely stands off the ceiling. The product is built to protection class II (double insulation), so no protective earth connection is required. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry indoor rooms. It runs on ~220–230 V, 50/60 Hz. The manufacturer has issued an EU declaration of conformity covering the LVD, EMC and RoHS directives and the EN IEC 60598 series of standards.What you still need to buy The canopy is the base of a configuration.
