This is the recessed point where a 48 V magnetic track gets both its power and its suspension. The body disappears into the ceiling and all that remains on show is a flat black flange 9 cm across, so the finished installation reveals neither the box nor the wiring. How it works A 70 mm hole is cut in the ceiling and the 72 mm deep body is recessed into it. The canopy delivers 48 V DC to the track, which can be run at a distance from the feed point itself — hence the “remote” in the manufacturer's own name for it. It is intended for V-TAC's magnetic system with belt suspension. Worth knowing This is the feed and mounting point only: track, fixtures and driver are not included and are chosen separately. The IP20 rating makes it a part for dry interiors, and the -20 to +45 °C operating range covers unheated rooms too. It carries CE, EMC and RoHS certification and a 3-year warranty.
