Gea Luce GES2011 Garden Bollard Light, Brown, 50 cm, E27, IP44

Name: Gea Luce GES2011 Garden Bollard Light, Brown, 50 cm, E27, IP44
Brand: Gea Luce

The Gea Luce GES2011 is a brown garden bollard with an aluminium body and an opal polycarbonate diffuser. Its cylindrical outline ends in a pale upper section, interrupted by a tapered piece of housing extending down from the cap. This detail distinguishes it from posts with a plain, uninterrupted milky cover.A 50 cm light beside the pathAt 50 cm high and 9 cm in diameter, this is a low-level garden fitting rather than a tall street-light column. Consider it beside a garden path, along a terrace edge or at the side of a driveway. Position the body outside pedestrian and vehicle routes rather than narrowing the space used for passing. The simple cylinder, absence of decorative arms and contrast between the brown body and opal top suit a restrained, contemporary layout. Compare its height with nearby planting and other garden elements before deciding where to fix it. In particular, avoid a position where foliage would conceal the light-emitting upper section.Choose a single E27 light sourceThe fitting takes one E27 bulb rated at no more than 18 W. Keep within that limit when selecting the source. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the chosen bulb: a brown housing does not itself imply warm-white light. The opal diffuser covers the bulb, while the fixed cylindrical construction is distinct from a spotlight with an adjustable beam direction.Fixed installation and cleaningGea Luce specifies outdoor use and an IP44 rating. The assembly instructions show the base screwed to the supporting surface and connection to a 220–240 V AC supply. Installation and assembly must be carried out by qualified personnel. Switch off the mains before any work. For cleaning, the instructions specify a damp cloth and mild detergent; keep water and cleaning solution away from cables and electrical components, then dry gently with a soft, clean cloth.Näytä lisää
