Sardo is a 62 cm bar carrying four smoked-glass shades on ball joints. The body is steel in a silver finish; the shades are 8 cm cylinders, semi-transparent, so the bulb shows through — the fitting is meant for decorative filament sources. Four heads, four directions Each shade sits on its own joint and turns independently of the others. That is what separates a spot bar from a plain ceiling light: instead of one flood downward you get four separate beams to distribute around the room — two onto a picture wall, one onto a worktop, one towards the door. At 62 cm the shades are spaced far enough apart that the beams do not merge into a single pool. E14 up to 40 W, dimming depends on the bulb The holders are E14 — the small screw base, the one used in wall lights and chandeliers — and the maximum source rating is 40 W. No bulbs are included. Italux states the fitting can be dimmed provided a suitable source is used, meaning an LED marked as dimmable. Behind smoked glass, sources with a visible filament look best: they give a warm point of glow rather than a flat patch. Four 40 W bulbs is the theoretical ceiling — in practice 4–6 W LEDs are plenty. Steel, glass and a two-year warranty The construction combines silver-finished steel with smoked glass shades. It mounts on the ceiling on a round canopy, and IP20 keeps it in dry interiors — although the manufacturer lists bathrooms among its uses, it must not go in a shower zone. Italux covers this model with a two-year warranty. The Sardo collection also includes one-, two- and three-light versions plus wall lights and pendants using the same shade.
