The V-TAC VT-7312-W-N LED lamp is a flexible white tube made of silicone-coated aluminium that can be bent into shape and stood on a surface without a separate base – the bent shape holds on its own, as shown in the product photos. The LED source runs along the full length of the tube and is permanently built in. The VT-7312-W-N model comes in a white finish. How big it is and how to shape it Straightened out, the tube measures 35 cm in length and 21 cm in width and weighs 0.71 kg, so it can easily be bent by hand into a standing shape on a desk, nightstand or shelf. Since the bent tube itself forms the stand, the lamp's shape changes with how it's set up – it can be stretched wider or coiled more tightly depending on the space available. It runs on a 230 V mains supply through a cable with a built-in switch, so no separate power supply is needed on the desk. How much light it gives, and what kind The lamp draws 20 W and outputs 1840 lm, which at an efficacy of 92 lm/W means a lot of light for a low power draw. It gives off warm 3000 K light, close to a traditional bulb, with a colour rendering index of Ra 80+, so colours look natural under it. Light exits around the full circumference of the tube (a 360° angle), spreading in every direction rather than in a narrow beam – it works more as ambient light than a directed one. The LED source cannot be replaced, as it is permanently fused with the tube. Which rooms it suits The manufacturer intends this lamp for the bedroom and as a reading light.
