This fused silica capillary is clad with a polyimide outer coating. The inner capillary wall is covalently bonded with a Linear Polyacrylamide to create a neutral (no charge) environment that does not conduct current. Therefore there is no Electro-Osmotic Flow (EOF) and ionized analytes will move to the anode or cathode respectively, only by their ion mobility. This capillary is meant to be cut to your own desired length for your own Capillary Electrophoresis Instrument and is supplied without finished tips.
