NORLYS Modena 351A/WH outdoor pendant lantern, white, on a chain, E27, IP54

Name: NORLYS Modena 351A/WH outdoor pendant lantern, white, on a chain, E27, IP54
Brand: NORLYS

Modena 351WH is an outdoor wall light in the form of a classic lantern hanging from an arm: a hexagonal shade with a spired roof hangs beneath a decorative bracket, shade down. The body is cast aluminium powder-coated in white (RAL 9003), and the panes are clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate. Dimensions and wall mounting According to the manufacturer's drawing the light is 55 cm tall and projects 33 cm from the wall, and the backplate is 23 cm high. Compare the 33 cm projection with the width of the walkway along the wall and with any door or shutter opening next to it. The light weighs 2 kg. The backplate is fixed through four ø5 mm holes on a 25 × 140 mm pattern. The manufacturer also provides for mounting on the corner of a building — this needs the corner bracket 152XX0009, sold separately. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and the EPDM gland accepts a round cable of ø7–10.5 mm. Protection class II means double insulation, so the wall light needs no earth conductor. Light source and type of light The luminaire has an E27 socket for an A55–A60 shaped bulb, and the manufacturer allows an LED lamp of up to 9 W. No bulb is included. Norlys offers the option of ordering the light with a Philips Master LEDbulb 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K, dimmable — 806 lm is roughly the brightness of an old 60 W bulb, and 2700 K is warm, yellowish light. The bulb is replaced by the user, without calling a service. The shade has no directional optic; light leaves through the clear panes of the lantern and lights the wall and the area around it. The bulb is visible through the panes, so its shape and colour become part of how the lantern looks. Weather resistance and intended use IP54 means protection against dust and water splashes from any direction, so the light can hang on a façade without a canopy. The manufacturer gives an operating range of −20 to +45 °C. The shade can be replaced — the service kit is number 06350004. Norlys describes the 351 as a classic-style wall light for general use, and the Modena series also has the 304 post lantern with the same shade, so the façade and the path can be lit in one design.Näytä lisää
