There is now a real performance upgrade for all models built between 1969 and 1989: the KW V3 shock absorber set in a robust, galvanized steel housing with independently adjustable compression and rebound damping. The special thing about it: You can adapt the driving behavior exactly to your personal preferences - without any complex suspension strut conversions, replacement cartridges or the removal of the original torsion bar springs. The recommended basic setup can be changed in no time using the integrated adjustment wheels. The rebound stage (16 clicks) directly regulates handling and ride comfort, while the low-speed compression stage (12 clicks) increases steering precision and specifically counteracts oversteer. In the event of hard impacts caused by bumps, the preconfigured high-speed compression stage ensures rapid compression and prevents the vehicle from jumping. The result is a significantly more direct, safer driving experience and noticeably more tire grip on the drive axle, while the typical oversteer behavior remains absolutely neutral. A big plus point: the dampers are registration-free. You also get the KW 5-year additional guarantee when you purchase and install it through a certified KW specialist retail partner.
