Torre SLI003002CW is an outdoor wall light built as an aluminium cylinder in a grey finish, surface-mounted on a square bracket that screws to the wall. A flat glass front closes it off, and behind it sit fifteen Cree diodes, each in its own lens. How it lights: a narrow 15-degree beam The lenses gather the light into a 15° beam — a narrow cone rather than a diffuse glow. The fitting puts out 1020 lm from 15 W, which is 68 lm/W, and all of that brightness lands on a small area. This is how you light a section of façade, a column, a tree or a sign, not a whole terrace. The colour of the light is 6000 K, a cool white close to daylight with a distinctly cold, bluish cast. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 is enough for architectural lighting; for an interior where colour fidelity matters you would normally choose higher. The fitting cannot be dimmed — the manufacturer states this outright. Where it may be mounted IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction, but not against a pressure jet — this is a fitting for a roof overhang, under a canopy or on a sheltered wall, not for an open façade taking the full rain. The manufacturer permits both indoor and outdoor mounting, across a temperature range of −20 to +40 °C. The fitting is protection class I, so an earth conductor is required to connect it — it must not go on an installation without earthing. It measures 252 × 200 × 175 mm and weighs 3.2 kg; mark that outline on the wall and choose your fixings for that weight before you start drilling. What comes in the box The light source is built in and supplied with the fitting, and the driver is included — it connects straight to 230 V, 50 Hz mains, and there is neither a lamp nor a separate power supply to buy. The manufacturer quotes a service life of 17,000 hours and 15,000 switching cycles, and gives a two-year warranty.
