Fallon Long is a surface-mounted ceiling light shaped as a white cylinder 10 cm across and 12 cm tall. The body is metal, and the flat face is divided into a round disc in the middle and a narrow ring around it. The light comes from a built-in LED module. Three light settings from one switch The fitting carries the 3-step Moodmaker™ function, worked from an ordinary wall switch — no dimmer and no remote to buy. The first switch-on lights the whole face, the second leaves only the central disc at 50% brightness, and the third only the ring. The split is visible on the housing: the bright disc and the ring around it are two separately switched fields. The manufacturer also gives a reset — switching on and off five times restores the starting setting. How much light it gives and for how long The module draws 5.5 W and delivers 500 lm. That is less than the old 60 W bulb, which corresponds to roughly 800 lm, so a single fitting lights a defined zone rather than a whole room. 2700 K is warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional bulb, and the 110° angle spreads it widely below the fitting. Colour rendering is Ra 80. The manufacturer states 20 000 hours for the module, and the light source cannot be swapped — after that the whole fitting is replaced. The energy class is F. Size, fixing and wiring The fitting drops 12 cm below the ceiling and covers a 10 cm circle on it; it weighs 0.408 kg. Mounting screws are not supplied — the manufacturer calls for screws 50 to 55 mm long, chosen to suit the ceiling construction. An external connector block is included. The supply cable should be 0.75 to 1.5 mm² in section, with the cores stripped back 10 mm. The fitting is safety class II, double insulated, so it needs no earth connection. Linking several fittings Fallon Long can be wired in parallel — the manufacturer allows up to 15 fittings in one link, fed from a single point.
