This results in increased play in the control arm without the desired damping. Consequently, a defective rubber bushing on the control arm is noticeable through reduced tracking accuracy, noise when driving over bumps (rattling), poorer driving dynamics in corners, and uneven tire wear. Polyurethane (PU) suspension bushings, on the other hand, offer significantly longer durability and improve, among other things, handling and driving feel in corners.
