When using chemically aggressive liquids (e.g. TICKOPUR J 80 U), removing chemically aggressive or abrasive contamination or sonicating sample liquids, insert cups are used (indirect sonication). Because nothing may be placed on the bottom of the ultrasonic bath, BANDELIN offers suitable plastic hanging trays with lids. Please note that in order to transmit the ultrasound to the insert vessel, the surface tension of the water must be reduced and therefore a cleaning solution (e.g. TICKOPUR R 33 – 3%) must be used as a coupling fluid/contact fluid.
