Bern 675 MDBC Copper LED Outdoor Wall Sconce by NORLYS

Name: Bern 675 MDBC Copper LED Outdoor Wall Sconce by NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

The Bern 675 MD is a square outdoor wall light with a built-in microwave motion sensor and an integrated LED module. Its steel front, finished in black with copper patina, frames a satin safety-glass diffuser, and two horizontal straps with round bolt heads at the sides run across the middle.Size and wall mountingThe front measures 24.5 × 24.5 cm and the light projects 12 cm from the wall – compare these figures with the free space beside the door. It weighs 3.16 kg and is fixed through two ø4.5 mm holes spaced 170 × 50 mm apart. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the next fitting can be looped in with conductors up to 3 × 1.5 mm². The gasket may only be pierced by a round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter: piercing it with a tool costs the light its ingress protection and the warranty. Installation is carried out by a qualified electrician. How much light and what kindThe Philips Fortimo LED module is included and is not changed like a bulb. On its own it produces 1080 lm, and 819 lm leave the complete fitting at 11.2 W – roughly what an old 60 W bulb gave. The satin glass diffuses the light, so there is no harsh point, and a ULOR of 6% means only 6% of the flux goes upwards – the rest lights the wall and the area below.3000 K is warm white, and CRI 80 renders the colours of the facade and its surroundings correctly, if not to studio standard. The manufacturer rates the module at more than 50,000 hours (L70).Motion and twilight sensorThe MC030S L microwave sensor switches the light on when someone enters its range, but only after dark, and keeps it on for as long as it detects movement. No separate motion detector or twilight switch is needed at the entrance.According to the sensor's data sheet, the hold time after the last movement (5 s to 30 min), the daylight threshold and the sensitivity are set with its DIP switches.Sealing, safety and servicingIP54 means protection against dust and against splashing water from any direction, so the light can hang on a wall without a canopy. IK07 stands for resistance to an impact of 2 joules. As a protection class I fitting it needs a protective earth connection. The LED module is replaced by a professional service only, and Norlys offers the service kit ZS0906750000 for this light. The plain square frame is a modern form, intended for facades beside or above the front door.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
