Chelsea 9012CO copper post-top garden lantern, Ø50 mm spigot, 1×E27, IP44 – NORLYS

Name: Chelsea 9012CO copper post-top garden lantern, Ø50 mm spigot, 1×E27, IP44 – NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

Chelsea 9012CO is a classic four-sided NORLYS lantern made of copper, with clear panes of UV-stabilised polycarbonate. It sits on top of a lighting pole with a 50 mm diameter mounting spigot – the pole is not included. It is the same lantern NORLYS fits in the Chelsea 951CO pole set and in the Chelsea 955CO wall light on an arm; here you buy it on its own.Dimensions and mounting on the poleThe lantern is 75 cm tall, 32 × 32 cm in plan and weighs 5.5 kg (6.3 kg packed). Compare these figures with the height of your pole: the full 75 cm of the lantern is added on top, because the fitting stands on the spigot rather than hanging below it.The terminals take conductors up to 4 × 2.5 mm² and allow loop-through wiring at the same cross-section, so several lanterns can share one supply line. The cable entry accepts round cable of 6–12.5 mm diameter. The lantern is protection class II, so it needs no protective earth. Before installation the manufacturer asks you to read the instructions supplied with the fitting.Bulb and lightThe lantern has an E27 socket for an A-shape bulb, the classic pear form; the manufacturer allows only an LED source of up to 11 W. No bulb is included, so you choose the colour temperature and brightness yourself, and you can change it without a service visit. The light is open: the bulb stays visible through the clear panes, so its shape and colour become part of how the lantern looks. With a 2700 K bulb the lantern gives a warm, slightly yellowish light, close to a traditional incandescent bulb.Where it can standIP44 means protection against water splashing from any direction, so the lantern can stand outdoors without a roof over it; it operates from −20 to +45 °C. The manufacturer designed it for gardens, terraces and architectural projects – it suits the entrance of a house, hotel or restaurant. Outdoors, copper darkens over time and develops a patina – a natural property of the metal. To order, NORLYS also makes the lantern in other colours from its Colors Template range.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
