Description: If the odometer/trip odometer on your vehicle has failed, the gears shown are usually the cause. Most often, one of the gears breaks, causing the drive to jam. We especially recommend that commercial customers replace these three gears at once. Often, after replacing one damaged gear, the other gear fails shortly afterward. Replacing all three ensures long-term functionality of the drive. Note: We also have a repair gear available in our shop for older models with mechanical drives! Important: The number of teeth on the smaller E3 type gear ring varies from 12 to 21 teeth, depending on the model. It depends on many factors (gear size, transmission type, motor type, year of manufacture, etc.). A definitive match is not possible.Therefore, please tell us the number of teeth on your E3 gear in the comments field when purchasing. Without this information, we will send you the most commonly used gear type. We use the thermoplastic material Celron with graphite additives. These ensure low friction and wear-free operation. If you disassemble the speedometer beforehand, please note that the speedometer needle shaft is very delicate. Grip the speedometer needle in the middle and turn it counterclockwise, pulling gently.
