The power steering pump is driven by the crankshaft via the V-belt. Replacing the belt is quick and easy using the pump's tensioner. Caution: The power steering pump tensioners are often seized and heavily rusted. Soaking them with rust remover is recommended to prevent damage to the wrench flats of the tensioner.
