To avoid double assembly work, we recommend replacing these two gears in pairs. The right disc gear for the E15 can be a 15-K or be 17-K. It's best to count your teeth first! Dimensions: Diameter E15 = 6.90mm (15 teeth) Diameter 15-K = 15.4mm (15 teeth) Possible associated disc gears: 15-K or 17-K for comparison: Diameter E20 = 8.60mm (20 teeth) associated disc gear: 15-M = 17.6mm (15 teeth) Note: Either an E15 OR an E20 can be installed in the 964. If you disassemble the speedometer in advance, please note that the shaft of the speedometer needle is very sensitive. Grab the speedometer needle in the middle and turn it counterclockwise. Pull lightly. Friction is everything that keeps the needle on the shaft.
