Both versions now feature check valves, which is extremely important, especially for turbo engines. For space reasons, the oil filters became approximately 20mm shorter in later 944 models. Only the longer version from the 944 models was used for the Porsche 964 turbo. Brand information: The Hengst company was founded in Münster in 1958 and manufactured filter products then as now.
