Endon Franklin Large Industrial Pendant Light Taupe/Antique Brass E27 Ø33.5 cm 76327

Name: Endon Franklin Large Industrial Pendant Light Taupe/Antique Brass E27 Ø33.5 cm 76327
Brand: Endon

Franklin is an industrial-style pendant light with a bell-shaped metal shade, 33.5 cm in diameter, finished with a rolled lower edge. The shade is painted in a colour Endon calls “vintage stone” – a warm grey with a hint of beige, in other words taupe – while the lampholder, the ring above the shade and the ceiling rose carry an antique brass plated finish. It hangs from a black fabric-covered flex. Size and hanging height Overall height ranges from 40 to 142 cm and is set on a flex of about one metre. Over a dining table the bottom edge of the shade usually sits 70–80 cm above the tabletop; with a ceiling at 250–290 cm that means a drop of roughly 100–140 cm, which the adjustment range covers. In a low room the pendant can be raised almost up to the ceiling. A 33.5 cm shade is smaller than the 40 cm size that stays in proportion over a table 80–90 cm wide, so this version suits a narrower table or a spot where the light should not dominate. The fitting weighs 1.6 kg. The Franklin range from Endon also includes a smaller pendant and a wall light. Bulb and light The pendant has one E27 lampholder rated for a bulb of up to 40 W. The bulb is not included. Endon pairs it with E27 LED filament lamps – in a classic GLS shape or as a 95 mm globe – because the visible filament underlines its workshop character. The fitting is dimmable, but it needs a dimmer switch in the installation and a lamp marked as dimmable. The opaque metal shade directs the light downwards onto the table or worktop below, leaving the ceiling in shadow, so a whole room will need another light source as well. The fitting is Class I and must be connected to an earth conductor. Where it fits Franklin is an industrial and loft-style pendant: the smooth bell shade, exposed brass lampholder and fabric flex recall old workshop and bistro lamps. It is intended for hanging over a dining table, in a living room and in a bedroom. The matt taupe softens the hardness of the metal, while the brass details add a warm accent.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
