Presence/absence broth with MUG ampoules provides an easy-to-use test, ideal for screening drinking water samples for the presence of total coliforms and E. coli bacteria. Simply add your 100 mL sample to the P/A broth and incubate for 24 to 48 hours at 35°C. A change in color to yellow or yellow-brown indicates the presence of coliform bacteria.
