HALMSTAD 1489GR is a square-section bollard light 49 cm tall, finished in graphite RAL 7016. Its head is closed by horizontal louvres with a milky PMMA lens behind, so light leaves sideways and is partly shielded from above. The body is hot-dip galvanised, powder-coated steel, and a silicone gasket seals the joint. How tall it is and how it is fixed At 49 cm the light sits at roughly knee height, so it lights the surface of a path or driveway, not the face of anyone walking past. It weighs 8.2 kg net and ships in a 15.5 × 15.5 × 55 cm box. The base bolts down through three ø9 mm holes 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle. Nothing to stand it on comes with the fitting — concreting anchor, ground anchor and mounting adapters are bought separately, so the order has to settle whether the bollard goes into fresh concrete or an existing surface. The terminals take cable up to 2×4 mm², and loop-through at 2×2.5 mm² lets several bollards share one circuit without a junction box at each. What light it gives and how it dims The LED module draws 6.7 W and the whole luminaire 8.5 W, putting out 292 lm. The module itself makes 1059 lm — the difference stays in the louvres, which is what keeps glare down, so 292 lm is the figure that counts: accent light on a surface, not general garden lighting. Luminaire efficacy is 34.4 lm/W. 3000 K is warm white, and Ra 80 is enough to tell planting and paving colours apart. It dims on TRIAC phase control and handles both edges — trailing edge and leading edge — so it works with an RC dimmer as well as the older RL type. Where it can stand and how long it lasts IP65 means full dust protection and protection against water jets; IK10 is the top impact class — the bollard takes a knock from a mower or a bicycle at a path edge. Norlys specifies operation from −20 to +45 °C. Safety class II means double insulation — no earth conductor required. The LED module and the driver are not potted in for good: Norlys treats both as professionally replaceable and stocks a service set under its own article number.
