Most of the time one of the gears breaks and the drive stalls. We advise commercial customers in particular to change these three gears directly. Note: We also have repair sets in the shop for older Volvos with a mechanical drive (= speedometer cable)! Important: The number of teeth on the smaller E3 type sprocket varies from 12 to 21 teeth depending on the model. It depends on many factors (wheel size, gearbox type, engine type, year of manufacture and much more). A secure assignment is not possible. We therefore ask you to let us know the number of teeth on your E3 gear in the comments field when purchasing. Without this information, we will send you the most commonly installed gear type.
