Outdoor Pendant Light NORLYS London Big 493A/WH white E27 on chain 110 cm

Name: Outdoor Pendant Light NORLYS London Big 493A/WH white E27 on chain 110 cm
Brand: NORLYS

London Big 493A/WH is an outdoor pendant light shaped as a classic square lantern with a hipped roof, hung on a chain. The body and roof are cast aluminium, the chain is steel, and everything is powder-coated white (RAL 9003). The panes are clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate, so the bulb stays visible and its shape becomes part of the light's look.Size and suspensionThe lantern itself is 50 cm tall and 30 × 30 cm in plan; with the chain and canopy the light measures 110 cm overall. Subtract that figure from the ceiling height of your gazebo, terrace roof or porch — the result tells you how much headroom remains under the base of the lantern. The light hangs from a ceiling hook and weighs 2.35 kg. Its terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm² in a round sheath of 5–12 mm diameter, i.e. a standard installation cable. The box measures 53.2 × 43.2 × 31 cm and weighs 4.32 kg.Bulb and lightThe fitting has one E27 socket and takes an A55–A60 shaped LED bulb of up to 11 W. The bulb is not included, and the manufacturer allows the end user to change it without calling a service technician. You therefore choose the colour and brightness yourself — warm 2700–3000 K usually suits an entrance or a terrace — and because the panes are clear, it is worth picking a bulb that also looks good when switched off.Weather resistance and where to fit itIP54 protection means the light is shielded against rain and splashing water from any direction, and the manufacturer rates it for operation from −20 to +45 °C. It is protection class II, meaning double insulation, so no earth conductor is needed. If the panes get damaged, the whole light does not have to be replaced: Norlys supplies the diffuser as service kit 0904900051.The manufacturer intends the light for gardens, terraces and other outdoor settings. As a pendant it needs a structure overhead, so its place is a gazebo, a covered terrace, a balcony or the entrance of a hotel or restaurant. The style is classic English: a square lantern with a roof and a turned finial under the base recalls historic street lanterns, and the white finish sits well against a light façade and timber details. The London Big series also includes the black version 493A/BL.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
