The Mantra FLAME 1326 is a white outdoor lamp with a curved body that tapers upwards from a triangular base. The whole body works as the shade — there is no separate cover and no cut-out window. The design is by Santiago Sevillano. How big it is and where it stands The lamp is 54 cm tall and its base takes up 17 × 15 cm. The height cannot be adjusted. At 1.1 kg it is carried with one hand, so it need not stay in the same place all season. The supply lead is white and 2 m long. That figure decides how far from a socket the lamp can stand — beyond it you need an extension cord rated for outdoor use. What light it gives The fitting takes one E27 lamp, which is not supplied. Colour and brightness are your choice: for a terrace most people go for 2700–3000 K, warm light with a slightly yellow cast. Light leaves through the whole body, so it spreads all round rather than in one direction. The manufacturer makes no provision for dimming, so brightness comes down to the bulb you fit. Where it can stand and what it is made of IP65 means dust tight and resistant to water jets, that is to rain from any angle — the lamp can stay on an uncovered terrace. The body is made of polyethylene and ABS. The fitting works in protection class II, so it needs no earth conductor, and accepts 100 to 240 V at 50/60 Hz.
