Description: This fender end panel sits on the body at the height of the A-pillar. Porsche refers to this as the fender end panel and it is supplied with the sheet metal nuts. The front fenders are bolted to these nuts. The panel itself is a weld-in panel for body repairs. Please note that the bodies of the early 911s were still largely handcrafted. Accordingly, no two vehicles are alike, and minor sheet metal adjustments for perfect panel gaps are possible. The short-wheelbase 911s have a slightly different right-side fender end panel. Among other things, this panel has the openings for the oil lines. For the early 911 SWB, there were originally two versions of the right-side fender end panel. Both were produced using the same press tool. They have a slightly different shape compared to the later F-models and differ from each other only in the through-holes for the oil lines.
