Paris 163 White E27 Led 9W

Name: Paris 163 White E27 Led 9W
Brand: NORLYS

Paris Big 163WH is a half-dome outdoor wall light from Norlys – the larger version of the Paris wall light. The body is hot-dip galvanised steel, powder-coated white (RAL 9003), and a satin diffuser of UV-stabilised polycarbonate closes it from below. The fitting has an E27 socket and is sold without a bulb, so you choose the bulb yourself. Dimensions and wall mounting According to the manufacturer's drawing the light is 28 cm wide and 14 cm high and projects 16 cm from the wall. Compare these figures with the free space above a door, beside a gate or on a garden wall. The body is screwed on through two oval holes of ø5.5 mm, 100 mm apart. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and further fittings can be looped through with cable up to 3 × 1.5 mm². A round cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter enters through an EPDM gland; the instructions say to pierce it only with the cable itself, as tool damage reduces the sealing. As a class I light it must be connected to protective earth. Which bulb and what light The fitting takes one E27 LED bulb of up to 9 W in the A55–A60 shape, i.e. with a bulb diameter of 55–60 mm. The instructions also limit the bulb length to 110 mm, so a wider decorative globe or a longer bulb falls outside the dimensions the manufacturer allows. Colour and brightness depend on the bulb you choose: 2700–3000 K gives warm light, 4000 K neutral white. The dome directs the light downwards and the satin diffuser spreads it. The data sheet gives a ULOR of 0%: nothing shines upwards, so it lights the wall and ground below rather than the sky. Where it fits and how it is made Norlys intends Paris Big for lighting building facades and fences, and also for illuminating a house number sign. IP43 protects against rain falling at up to 60° from vertical, but not against a jet of water – the light is meant for an exterior wall, not for a spot that gets hosed down. The form is classic and minimalist: a smooth half-dome without ornament, with only the edge of the diffuser visible beneath. Norlys also makes the same model in black (163BL) and hot-dip galvanised (163GA). The diffuser is available as a spare part (service kit 06163001), so a cracked one is replaced without changing the whole light.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
