Brand information: The FAG company was founded in Schweinfurt in 1883 and has been manufacturing rolling bearings for vehicles ever since, initially for bicycles. In 2001, FAG was acquired by the Schaeffler Group. One of the best-known applications of FAG bearings, besides automobiles, is the spherical roller bearings in the hub of the "London Eye" Ferris wheel.
