Bazar Bizar Rattan Bin Low lidded rattan basket, natural brown, Ø25 cm, H 34 cm

Name: Bazar Bizar Rattan Bin Low lidded rattan basket, natural brown, Ø25 cm, H 34 cm
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

The Rattan Bin Low is a round rattan basket with a fitted lid, hand-woven in Indonesia. It measures 25 cm across and 34 cm tall, and the centre of the lid carries a rattan-wrapped bar handle that lifts it off one-handed. How much floor it takes The manufacturer gives the footprint as 25 × 25 cm, but that is the diameter printed twice: the basket is a 25 cm cylinder, not a square. On the floor it occupies a circle of that size — a figure to compare with the clear space beside a chest of drawers, or in a corner where a square box would leave empty wedges. At 34 cm tall and 25 cm across, the basket is distinctly taller than it is wide. That proportion suits things stored upright or rolled rather than blankets folded flat. Empty it weighs 0.8 kg, so one hand moves it even with the contents inside. Construction and where it can stand The weave is dense and runs in horizontal bands around the whole body; the lid carries its own circular weave spiralling out from the centre. The manufacturer names the colour natural brown — the tone is not uniform, and darker and lighter bands show across the full height of the wall. Rattan is the only material listed: body, lid and handle wrap are all the same stock, with no metal parts. Every piece is woven by hand, so the pattern of the weave and the shade can differ slightly from the photograph. On its product sheet the manufacturer specifies indoor use only — this basket is not intended for a terrace or a balcony.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
