The usual purpose for using the testo 511 is to measure absolute pressure, e.g. for density compensation when measuring flow in ducts, in laboratories and production processes. Other parameters are the barometric air pressure (= pressure related to the air pressure at sea level) and the height above sea level. The testo 511 absolute pressure measuring instrument is very handy, small and very easy to use. It measures absolute pressure with an accuracy of +/-3 hPa and is ideal for absolute pressure compensation in flow measurements. By entering the height above sea level on site, this is converted into barometric air pressure. In addition, the measuring instrument enables barometric height measurement between two points.
