TRYSIL 1097 is an 85 cm bollard light built from powder-coated cast aluminium in RAL 9006. The head reaches 34 cm out to the side of the post, and the light leaves it through the underside only, behind a clear textured polycarbonate lens. Two LED modules sit inside, running at 4000 K. Dimensions and how it is fixed down The bollard measures 85 cm high, 11 cm wide and 34 cm deep. That last figure is how far the head overhangs the base — compare it with the width of the path, or with the distance from the edge of the driveway where the fixture will stand. It is fixed through four ø8 mm holes spaced 18 × 50 mm, following the installation manual supplied with it. The concreting anchor carries its own index, 1907, and is not part of the set, so it has to be ordered separately. Net weight is 4.2 kg. How much light it gives and where it points The two LED modules are built in and included — replacing the light source is a job for a qualified person, not a bulb change. The whole fixture puts out 647 lm from 7.3 W, a little less than an old 60 W bulb, and the beam goes downwards onto the surface below the head. 4000 K is neutral white: light with no yellow cast, cooler than a typical indoor lamp. The fixture can be dimmed, but only with a trailing-edge dimmer. Build and resistance to the weather The body is cast aluminium finished with powder paint, the lens is UV-stabilised polycarbonate, and a silicone gasket closes the joint between the two. The manufacturer gives a 5-year warranty on the fixture and a 25-year anti-corrosion warranty. IP65 means it is dust-tight and withstands water jets, so it can stand in the open with no shelter at all. IK10 is the top impact rating on that scale. The operating temperature range runs from -20 to +45 °C. The fixture is protection class I, which means the installation needs a protective earth conductor. Where TRYSIL 1097 belongs The manufacturer intends this bollard for outdoor use: in a garden, along a terrace, beside a driveway and on street runs, as well as around hotels and restaurants.
