ASKER Big 1305WH is an outdoor wall light shaped as a wide box: 30.2 cm across and 12.5 cm high. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium in white RAL 9003, closed underneath by a clear structured polycarbonate lens that is UV-stabilised. The light it gives and the bulb to buy for it The fitting takes an E27 lamp and arrives without one, so you choose the bulb yourself. The manufacturer allows an A55–A60 envelope and up to 9 W in an LED version; a wider decorative globe or a long candle lamp will not fit inside the housing. Norlys itself recommends a Philips Master LEDbulb at 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K for this luminaire — the brightness of an old 60 W bulb in warm, slightly yellow light. The user changes the lamp themselves. The lens sits on the underside only, and the manufacturer describes the distribution as hemispherical, directed downwards. The BUG rating B0-U0-G0 and ULOR of 0 per cent confirm it: not one lumen goes above the plane of the fitting. In practice the light lays a wide band down the wall beneath it and sends nothing into the sky or a neighbour's window. Mounting and wiring The luminaire is protection class I, so the circuit it goes on has to carry an earth conductor — it may not be fitted to an installation without one. It mounts on an intermediate plate with two adjustable 5x10 mm slots at 45 mm centres, or directly through two ø5 mm holes at 68 mm centres. The terminals accept conductors up to 3x2.5 mm² and additionally allow the supply to be looped through at up to 3x1.5 mm². Several fittings along one facade then run off a single cable route rather than one each. The EPDM gland takes round cable between 7 and 10.5 mm in diameter — worth checking against the cable already coming out of the wall. Dimensions and resistance The fitting is 30.2 cm wide, 12.5 cm high and stands 12.1 cm off the wall; it weighs 2.85 kg. IP65 means full protection against dust and against water jets, so it can hang on an unsheltered facade. Impact resistance IK08 corresponds to a 5 joule blow. A silicone gasket and the EPDM gland keep it sealed, and the lens is UV-stabilised, which matters on a fitting that stands in full sun all season.Show more
