KITESURF 7145 is a table lamp shaped as a closed ring 15 cm across, set upright on a flat rectangular base. The aluminium profile is finished in matt black, and the light leaves a silicone strip running along the inner edge of the ring. The whole lamp weighs 0.65 kg. How much light it gives and how it is switched The light source is built in permanently: an 8 W LED module delivers 640 lumens out of the fitting. That is mood-level brightness, comparable to a small bedside lamp rather than to a room's main light — the ring works as a point of light on a sideboard or cabinet, not as a reading lamp. 3000 K gives warm white light with a slightly yellow cast, and a colour rendering index of Ra 80 sits at the usual level for decorative lighting. The lamp cannot be dimmed, but an ordinary ON/OFF switch sits on the cord, so it is turned off without reaching for the socket. The diodes are not replaceable — the manufacturer quotes 20,000 operating hours and 30,000 switching cycles, and that sets the life of the whole fitting. How big it is and where to put it The ring measures 15 cm in diameter and the lamp stands 15.5 cm tall. The base is 5 cm deep — compare that figure with the depth of the shelf or cabinet the lamp is meant to stand on, because the lamp does not project beyond it. The cord is black and 1.6 m long. Compare that against the distance from the chosen spot to the nearest socket. At 15 cm across, with warm diffused light, the ring works as a mood lamp in a living room and beside the bed in a bedroom; its plain, undecorated form places it with modern and minimalist furnishing. Build and where it belongs Ring and base are metal — aluminium and steel — and the only non-metal part is the silicone diffuser that spreads the diode light. The fitting is intended for dry interiors only. The manufacturer gives a five-year warranty.
