Name: Oppland 5123AL Bollard Light in Light Grey RAL 9006 LED 8.2W 4000K 85 cm NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

Oppland 5123AL is an 85 cm Norlys bollard, 12 cm in diameter, with a cast-aluminium body powder-coated in light grey RAL 9006. The top of the cylinder is cut at a slant, and the cut holds a clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser through which the light leaves downwards. How much light it givesThe integrated 6.1 W LED module produces 1090 lm, and 313 lm leave the fitting at a power draw of 8.2 W. That is orientation lighting: the bollard marks the edge of a path and lights the ground around it, but it will not light a whole yard. The distribution is hemispherical and directed downwards, with a ULOR of 0%, so no light goes up into the sky. 4000 K is neutral white. The fitting can be dimmed with a phase dimmer, either trailing edge (TE) or leading edge (LE). The LED module and the driver are replaced by a professional service; Norlys rates the module at over 102,000 h (L80) and the driver at 50,000 h. The same fitting at 3000 K is Oppland 1321, and the DALI2-controlled version is Oppland 1325.Mounting and wiringThe bollard is bolted down through three ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle. Anchors and adapters are bought separately: the concrete-in anchor 205ZX, the ground anchor 206GA, the concrete-foundation adapter 206GA0S or the mounting adapters 3080GA and 3086GA. The fitting weighs 5 kg.The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm², also for loop-through wiring, so one bollard can feed the next. The round-sheathed supply cable can be 4–8, 8–12 or 10–13.6 mm in diameter. Norlys allows 31 of these fittings on one B10 circuit breaker.Durability and where it fitsIP65 means the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK09 means it withstands a 10 J impact, which matters by a driveway or in a public place where a bollard can get knocked. It is protection class II, so it needs no earth conductor. The plain cylinder with its slanted cut is a minimalist form close to Scandinavian design. Norlys designed the bollard for private grounds and other architectural settings, for example by a house, around a hotel or outside a restaurant.Show more
