Pendant lamp adapter SLV 1 SYSTEM for 1-phase track grey 143124

Name: Pendant lamp adapter SLV 1 SYSTEM for 1-phase track grey 143124
Brand: SLV

An adapter for hanging a pendant light from a track, in silver-grey. The body measures 8.5 × 3.5 × 3.2 cm and weighs 46 g. A brass threaded spigot projects from the underside, and a separate strain-relief sleeve is included. Which track it belongs on The part is made for SLV's 1-phase high-voltage surface-mounted track — the maker's catalogue calls the system 1~ SYSTEM. The phase count is the specification here rather than a detail: an adapter for 1-phase track will not enter a 3-phase track, because the two run their conductors differently. It goes in lugs-first, and a turn of the dial locks it in the profile. This is an accessory for indoor systems, rated IP20 — for dry rooms, not outdoors and not in a bathroom shower zone. What the thread and the sleeve are for The threaded spigot is where the pendant's own suspension screws on, and the sleeve with its clamping screw grips the cable so that the weight of the fitting hangs on the sleeve rather than on the current terminals. That is what lets pendants from outside the system be hung on the track — the maker describes the adapter as a solution for high-voltage pendants from other suppliers, not only for its own. The same adapter is also made in white and in black, so the fixing can be matched to the colour of the track.Show more
