A fluted column between two black clamps ALEGRANZA is a narrow, vertical wall light: an acrylic diffuser with a vertically fluted surface, gripped top and bottom by black metal end pieces and carried on a black wall bracket. The fluting is not decoration for its own sake — it breaks the light into vertical bands, so the emitting surface reads as a rhythm of brighter and darker lines rather than a flat patch, much as reeded glass does. 30 × 7 cm — a proportion for narrow places The fitting is 30 cm tall and just 7 cm wide. That slenderness is its practical advantage: it fits where a conventional shaded sconce is too wide — the narrow strip of wall between a door and a wardrobe, either side of a mirror, along a corridor. A pair flanking a mirror throws light onto the face from the side rather than from above, which removes the shadows under the eyes. 7 W, 455 lumens — supplementary light The integrated LED module draws 7 W and delivers 455 lm. That figure deserves a sober reading: it is roughly a 40 W incandescent, so ALEGRANZA is decorative, supplementary light — for mood, for emphasising a wall, or for lighting a mirror, not for lighting a room. The manufacturer states the colour temperature as 3000–4000 K, from warm to neutral white. The source is permanently built in and cannot be replaced. IP44 — bathrooms included IP44 means protection against solid objects over 1 mm and against splashing water from any direction. That allows installation in a bathroom outside the zones of direct spray — beside the mirror above a basin, for instance. Stricter requirements apply in the bath and shower zone; there a higher IP rating is needed. Materials The construction combines metal and aluminium (bracket and end pieces) with acrylic (the diffuser). All in black, contrasting with the white lit column. Supply is ordinary 230 V, with no external driver.
