Aluminium end cap that closes a LUMINES I6 profile in its 6 mm glass version. Left-hand variant, no cable hole, in silver — matched to the anodised finish of the profile itself, so the joint between cap and profile does not draw the eye. What the I6 profile is for I6 is a glass profile mounted on the surface: it grips the edge of a pane and lights it with an LED strip. The manufacturer intends it for holding and illuminating shop shelves as well as information and decorative panels — hence its typical use in display windows, cabinets and suspended systems with edge lighting. End caps close a length of profile at both ends; without them the aluminium section, the strip and the wiring stay visible. Choosing the right variant I6 end caps come in several versions and have to be picked deliberately, because they are not interchangeable: left / right — the profile section is asymmetric, so each end of a length needs its own side; one length takes one left and one right with hole / without hole — the hole passes the supply cable; this cap has no hole, so it closes the end where no cable comes out with support / without support — the support version additionally braces the pane; this one is without support 6 mm / 8 mm — the glass thickness the profile is prepared for; this fits the 6 mm version Fitting The cap is screwed on with two screws rather than pushed on, which matters on a suspended profile: the joint stays secure through transport and through later adjustment of the suspension.
