An aluminium end cap for the LUMINES Y LED profile, in black and with a hole for the supply cable. The manufacturer's code is 12-0092-10 and it belongs to the Basic end-cap series — shaped for the Y profile alone, not for other LUMINES families. With a hole, so it goes on the supply end A profile is closed with two end caps, one at each end. This one has a milled hole for the supply cable to pass through, so it goes on the side the power comes from. The other end is usually closed with the no-hole version, in the same black aluminium, code 12-0092-11. The cap is a push fit: it presses into the profile with no screws and no glue, so it can be taken off again if the strip ever needs servicing. Aluminium rather than plastic LUMINES offers the same shape in two materials. The ABS version (12-0092-00 with a hole, 12-0092-01 without) is cheaper, but it is plastic: next to an anodised profile the difference in texture and sheen can show up close. This cap is aluminium, so it sits flush with the anodised body of the Y profile and ages with it instead of yellowing separately. Black aluminium pairs with the black anodised Y profile (10-0092-XX). Which profile it fits The cap fits the LUMINES Y profile only — a rectangular profile for surface mounting in furniture, also used in suspended installations as decorative lighting. Worth remembering that the Y profile itself is sealable to IP68; in that kind of build a cap with a hole stops being sealed at the cable entry and needs separate sealing.
