The Gea Luce GES2248 is an outdoor façade wall light shaped as a narrow horizontal bar 36.5 cm long, die-cast in aluminium and finished in brown. It emits in two directions at once — light leaves upward and downward through clear glass diffusers, drawing two symmetrical triangles of light on the wall.Double emission at 82°The twin emission is the whole point of this fitting: rather than lighting the surroundings in general, the GES2248 works on the plane of the wall and brings out its texture. The 82° angle gives a moderately concentrated beam, so the light bands have defined edges — the effect looks best repeated at regular intervals along a façade, beside an entrance, on a terrace, by a driveway or a gate. The two LED modules draw 18 W each.Colour temperature chosen before installationThis is not a fitting with one factory-fixed colour. Before the wall light is finally mounted you select one of three colour temperatures — 3000 K, 4000 K or 5000 K — and only then is the fitting closed up. Output depends on that choice: 1,850 lm at 3000 K, 2,050 lm at 4000 K and 2,000 lm at 5000 K. Warm 3000 K suits timber and warm-toned render; cooler 5000 K suits grey plaster and concrete. Colour rendering exceeds CRI 80.DurabilityThe body is die-cast aluminium — a material that does not corrode and draws heat away from the diodes, which directly extends their life. An IP65 rating means full dust protection and resistance to water jets from any direction, so the fitting can sit on an unsheltered façade year round. Declared LED module life is 25,000 hours.Supply and mountingThe LED module is integrated and included — there are no separate bulbs to buy. It runs on standard 220–240 V mains.
