GES964C is a façade wall light with double emission — the maker calls it biemissione: the fitting lights upward and downward at once, from two 10 W LED modules. That is a quite different effect from a wall light that emits in one direction only. Two beams instead of one Two symmetrical cones of light form on the wall: one spreading upward, one downward. The beam angle is 120°, so the cones are wide and softly blurred rather than narrow and sharply cut. In practice this fitting draws on the wall rather than lighting the ground in front of it. By a front door two beams make a legible architectural accent; in a run of several along a façade a repeating rhythm appears that reads at night as a composition rather than a set of points. 2 × 10 W and 1236 lm Total power is 20 W, output 1236 lm at 3000 K with CRI above 80. Note the proportion: splitting into two modules means roughly half the flux goes each way — about 600 lm up and the same down. That is enough to light a stretch of façade about a storey high, but it does not replace a functional fitting over the door if light is needed on the threshold. On a façade the second half matters more: rain driving at an angle into the wall, water running down render, and low-pressure washing are everyday events the fitting must survive. IP65 covers all three; it does not cover submersion, so do not mount the light just above ground level where water stands after heavy rain. Colour versions The maker offers the same body in three finishes: white (GES964C), graphite grey (GES963C) and rusty (GES965C). Importantly, the versions differ not only in colour but in output — white gives 1236 lm, graphite 919 lm, rusty 922 lm. A light housing reflects more light in the zone next to the wall, hence the higher figure. Each finish also comes in a 4000 K variant (GES964, GES963, GES965 respectively) at slightly lower output. Class I — check the wiring The fitting is protection class I, which means it requires an earth conductor. On a new installation that is no obstacle, but in an older building where a two-core cable was run out to the façade it is a condition to verify before buying — there is no way around it.
