BATTEN 60 is a 58.55 cm LED batten with a section of just 2.6 × 3.6 cm, in white. It draws 9 W and lets you switch the light colour between 3000 and 4000 K without changing the fitting. The colour switch is on the fitting itself This is the model's defining feature. BATTEN 60 has a CCT Switch: the same batten runs at warm white 3000 K or neutral 4000 K, and the choice is made on the luminaire. Output differs slightly – 940 lm at 3000 K and 980 lm at 4000 K. The practical value is greater than it looks: light colour is the hardest thing to judge from a catalogue, because it depends on the worktop, the cabinet fronts and the walls. Here the decision is made after installation, looking at the finished room, and it can be changed later if the kitchen gets new fronts. 2.6 cm wide – where that fits The section is 2.6 cm wide by 3.6 cm tall. At that size the fitting disappears under a wall cabinet, behind a trim strip, in a shelf recess or inside a wardrobe – places where an ordinary linear fitting is simply too thick. From below what remains visible is a narrow line of light, not a beam. Net weight is 202 g, so fixing needs no elaborate structure – the manufacturer offers dedicated mounting clips (1006126) for it. Linking a run – up to ten fittings The datasheet gives 10 loop-through wires: that many fittings can be connected in series and the whole run fed from a single point. It changes how you plan – instead of taking a supply to every batten, one outlet is enough and connectors do the rest. The manufacturer provides a direct connector 1006128 (batten to batten, no gap) and a cable connector 1006127 for when a corner or a hinge has to be cleared between sections. It can also be wired the simplest way of all: with the supply lead and mains plug, straight into a socket. CRI 90 – why it matters here A colour rendering index of Ra 90 is clearly above the usual Ra 80 of utility fittings in this class. The difference shows exactly where battens like this get installed: over a kitchen worktop, raw meat, vegetables and spices carry their true colour, and at a workbench it is easier to tell wire and material shades apart.
