VT-120112-C is an up/down facade wall light in corten: an aluminium column 71 × 71 × 171 mm with a warm rust-brown finish. Light leaves only upwards and downwards, two cones on the wall; almost nothing is thrown forwards. Against brick, stone and timber the body sits close to the material; on pale render it reads as a dark accent. Adjustable beam, 0–90° Both outlets can be set anywhere between 0 and 90°. At zero you get two thin lines of light hugging the facade; at 90°, wider, softer fields that cover more of the wall. The same fitting can pick out the joints in stone or light a doorway. 3-in-1 colour switch Inside the housing is a CCT switch with three positions: 2700 K, 3200 K and 4000 K. The colour is chosen once, at installation — once the fitting is closed the switch is out of reach. 2700 K is very warm and suits timber and brick; 3200 K sits in between; 4000 K is a neutral white that reads more clearly on steps and a driveway. There is no dimming: the fitting runs at full output only. Light The integrated SMD LED module draws 10 W and is rated by the maker at 1250 lm (125 lm/W); the EPREL measurement is 1236 lm. CRI is above 90 and the red component R9 is 55, so brick, timber and rust-coloured render keep a saturation that CRI 80 fittings lose. Start-up is instant (under 1 s to full brightness). Durability and installation Aluminium body in corten. IP65 means dust-tight and resistant to water jets; IK06 covers a 1 J impact. Installation starts by removing the base plate with the supplied allen key; the plate is the drilling template, and plugs and screws are in the box. The cable lands on a terminal block. The manual requires earthing and a qualified electrician. The body then slides onto the base and is locked with the set screws. In service Rated life is 20,000 hours over more than 15,000 switching cycles. The light source is integrated and not replaceable: at end of life the whole luminaire is replaced.
