PL-SCX: Ready for success PL-SCX strong cation exchange materials are extremely hydrophilic and are designed for purification of biomolecules. The materials are fully polymeric and chemically and thermally stable over a wide range of HPLC conditions. The strong cation exchange functions covalently bound to a chemically stable polymer facilitate cation exchange purification over a wide pH range. This stability can be exploited for column purification and also allows the use of denaturing conditions and stabilizers/solubilizers for the purification of target compounds, such as those encountered in the purification of synthetic oligonucleotides with self-complementary sequences.Show more
