ARVIKA 893 is a bollard light with a square 14 × 14 cm section and a height of 89 cm, made from hot-dip galvanized steel. A light slot runs under the top cap, emitting on four sides and shielded from above, and a power distributor sits inside the shaft behind a hinged door. Sockets inside the shaft This is what separates index 893 from the other ARVIKA bollards: behind the door sits a ~230 V distributor with type F (SCHUKO) sockets, sealed with a silicone gasket. Power is available exactly where the light stands, without running a separate circuit out to an extension lead. How much light it gives and in which direction The LED is built in permanently and is not replaced. The module puts out 1370 lm, of which 543 lm leave through the optic — the rest stays inside, because the slot is narrow and capped. The luminaire draws 8.8 W, which works out at 61.7 lm/W. Colour temperature is 3000 K, a warm white, and colour rendering is Ra 80. The B0-U1-G0 glare classification says only a minimal share goes upwards — the light lands on the surface around the bollard rather than in windows and the sky. The fitting cannot be dimmed. How it is fixed down The base has three ø9 mm holes spaced every 120° on a ø85 mm circle. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm² and allow several bollards to be looped through in one run; the gland accepts a round cable up to ø17 mm. The concrete-foundation adapter and the concreting anchor are separate accessories and have to be bought alongside. The bollard weighs just under 12 kg, so the ground under it has to be solid: a concrete foundation or an anchor, not bare soil. Resistance and rated life The hot-dip galvanizing carries a 25-year anti-corrosion warranty and the fitting itself eight years. IP44 protects against splashing water from any direction, and IK10 is the top impact rating on that scale — which counts where people and equipment pass close by. The fitting works from -20 to +45 °C and belongs to protection class I, so the supply circuit needs a protective earth conductor. Rated LED life is 102 000 hours and the driver is rated at 50 000 hours.Show more
