GABI is a square recessed ceiling frame — the frame alone, with a tilting ring inside it, without a lampholder and without a light source. The body is die-cast aluminium, finished in black and brushed.What you need to buy alongside itThe manufacturer states two things outright: no socket is included, and the light source is sold separately. The ring takes an MR16 source, a 50 mm reflector lamp — the holder and the lamp are put together by the installer.MR16 comes in 12 V and 230 V versions, so whether the installation also needs a driver depends on the lamp chosen. That is an item to count alongside the price of the frame itself.Cut-out and dimensionsThe hole in the ceiling should be 67 mm across, and the frame plate measures 90 × 22 mm, covering it with margin on every side. Those two numbers are the whole installation geometry: a round hole is cut and a square frame is what stays visible.Two side springs hold the fitting in the ceiling — it is pushed into the hole and the springs press the plate against the ceiling from below. The manufacturer gives the mounting type as recessed.Tilt and finishThe ring inside the frame tilts, so the light can be aimed at a wall, a picture or a worktop instead of straight down. The same model is available in brushed silver under index 20-1320-06 — only the colour differs.Brushed aluminium has a fine, irregular grain, and the manufacturer points out that such a surface does not show smears.
