Gea Luce GBIS12 Suspension Kit for 48 V Lighting Tracks, Matt Gold, 2 m

Name: Gea Luce GBIS12 Suspension Kit for 48 V Lighting Tracks, Matt Gold, 2 m
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GBIS12 is a suspension kit for decorative 48 V lighting tracks, with a ceiling rose for connection to a remotely positioned power supply. The rose and the ceiling and track fixings have a matt-gold finish. The kit contains two steel suspension cables and one 2 m power cable.Suspension and power connectionThe steel cables support the track, while the separate electrical cable supplies power. These functions should be distinguished when planning the installation: the power cable does not replace the supporting cables. The ceiling rose covers the connection area at the ceiling. This kit is not a standalone luminaire and does not produce light itself.Compare the 2 m cable length with the intended distance between the ceiling and track, together with the connection route. It does not mean that the finished drop will measure exactly 2 m in every installation. Fixing positions must be planned around the design and assembly instructions.Compatibility by track codeThe manufacturer specifies GBIN40, GBIN41, GBIN42, GBIN43, GBIN44, GBIN45, GBIN46 and GBIN47 tracks. Check the full track code before selecting this suspension kit. A similar appearance or the same 48 V designation on another system does not establish compatibility. The connection is intended for a layout with the power supply positioned outside this kit, so selecting that supply is a separate part of the project.Installation and careWork on the GBIS12 suspension assembly requires isolation of the mains supply and a qualified installer. Retain the assembly manual after fitting. For the exterior surfaces of the rose and fixings, use a damp cloth with mild detergent followed by gentle drying with a soft, clean cloth. Keep this cleaning treatment away from the power cable and electrical parts: neither water nor detergent may reach them.Show more
